Experimenting with RAG means wiring up file uploads, embeddings, and chat — a lot of plumbing before you can ask questions about your own documents.

// What I built

I built this as a hobby/learning project: a simple file manager with drag-and-drop uploads and Retrieval-Augmented Generation so you can ask questions grounded in your uploaded files. Split into a React + TypeScript Vite frontend, a FastAPI backend, and a FastAPI microservice for document processing/embeddings, orchestrated with Docker Compose alongside MinIO and pgvector Postgres.
