3D body–garment gap analysis — upload body and dressed-body scans, measure fit distance in the browser.

3D scans usually capture only the garment outer surface, so fit technicians cannot objectively measure the air gap between skin and fabric.
I contributed to this client patent/research project from scratch. The workflow: 3D-scan the body (human or mannequin), 3D-scan the same body wearing the garment, upload both models, then run a custom 3D algorithm to measure landmark-based distances and ease values between body and dress. Evolved from an earlier Astro + Three.js prototype (3D-Fit).
Astro + React on Cloudflare Pages. Three.js renders body and dressed-body 3D models with cross-sectional visualization. Custom algorithms compute landmark-based gap distances (center front, princess seam, side seam, center back). Plotly and Chart.js surface ease values and fit reports.
